Product Description:

DOTP is a high-performance primary plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. Compared to commonly used dioctyl phthalate (DOP), it offers advantages such as heat resistance, cold resistance, low volatility, resistance to extraction, excellent flexibility, and superior electrical insulation properties. In finished products, it demonstrates outstanding durability, soap-water resistance, and low-temperature flexibility. Due to its low volatility, DOTP fully meets the temperature resistance requirements for wires and cables, making it widely applicable in 70°C-resistant cable compounds (International Electrotechnical Commission IEC standards). Plastic products made with DOTP can fully comply with the EU’s ROHS certification and pass 73 tests, including 6P testing, making it an environmentally friendly plasticizer.

Product Details

Due to its superior electrical resistance, DOTP’s volume resistivity is 20 times that of DOP, making it highly effective as a plasticizer in cable materials with low volatility. It is widely used in various heat-resistant and high-insulation products. DOTP also outperforms DOP in terms of resistance to extraction, volatility, and glass transition temperature, and is employed in soft PVC products such as artificial leather, floor leather, water pipes, tapes, and sealing materials.
